Background

R2 Reliability Pty Ltd is the company behind the Road to Reliability™ framework and runs the site www.roadtoreliability.com and the associated Road to Reliability™ Academy. Through the Academy we deliver online training and coaching in the area of industrial maintenance and plant reliability. Our customers are in all parts of the world, from individuals to large multinational companies. We have big plans and are working to deliver our online training in 8-10 different languages to better service our customers.

The company is growing, a lot of work has gone into a recent re-branding, but more work is to be done on copywriting and improving our marketing & sales performance. 

What's on Offer

A new long-term role of Marketing & Sales Lead is being created. The Marketing & Sales Lead will eventually be responsible for all aspects of marketing and sales for the company. Initial focus will be on social media management and lead generation. 

 

You will start part-time and your accountability, scope and involvement will grow over time depending on your success. Ultimately this will become a full-time role and lead a small team.

 
This role will be virtual enabling you to work from anywhere in the world, but you will be required to have at least 2 hours of overlap per day with Australian business hours (7am to 5pm GMT+10).

Scope of Work

  • Manage social media profiles (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube) including a 2-3 month posting schedule, content creation (from existing content), posting content, responding to messages, comments, and invitations to connect (likely using Agorapulse). Track social media performance in Shieldapp.ai and optimise strategy and content to improve performance. 
  • Execute LinkedIn outreach / lead generation using standardised message and response templates for new connection requests, messages, follow-up with people who interacted with posts etc. Once established this could be handed over to a VA (but I am not looking to automate this!)
  • Manage 2-weekly email newsletter setting up a 2-3 month content schedule, coordinating content generation, issue of email newsletter through ActiveCampaign
  • Manage and grow our new and upcoming Road to Reliability™ Community
  • Review & update the copy of our main website, specifically working the copy of our landing pages and sales pages. Work with our designer and email automation expert to measure and improve conversion.
  • Improve the copy of our marketing assets e.g. eBook, company brochure, course brochures
  • Create the copy for all marketing assets including a company capability statement, course brochures, client success stories, PDFs of online articles etc. Support the development of animated explainer videos. 

About You

  • You are honest, reliable, and have a great attitude to work.
  • You do what you say and say what you do.
  • You love building connections with other people online & offline.
  • You enjoy starting conversations via phone, socials, and email.
  • You pay attention to detail, get things right the first time most of the time but are not afraid to make a mistake and take responsibility.
  • You take initiative and can work with relatively little supervision.
  • You speak up when you don’t know something or don’t understand, but are proactive enough to then go and find out and learn.You can work well on your own, but are also a good team player. You have no problem receiving feedback from others and acting on it.

Your Skills

  • Ideally, you have experience in B2B marketing and sales, lead generation, and ideally copywriting experience so you can create effective calls to action, social media content and marketing campaigns. If your background is more technical (maintenance & reliability) and you are a good communicator that can work too!
  • You have experience with Pay Per Click (PPC) marketing, managing Facebook Ads and Google Ad campaigns. You understand SEO and are up-to-date with the latest white-hat practices.
  • You have a sound understanding of LinkedIn and have proven experience managing LinkedIn company pages and personal profiles
  • You have fluent English and especially your written English is clear, concise, and accurate. If you are fluent or native in another large language like Spanish, Portuguese or French that would be beneficial.
  • Ideally you would have a technical (engineering) background or education so you easily grasp what we do.
