Our online, on-demand training courses consist of pre-recorded video presentations. Students are supported via the online community and have access to scheduled Office Hours (bi-weekly live Q&A calls).

PS100: Implementing Maintenance Planning & Scheduling

The Implementing Maintenance Planning & Scheduling Course (PS100) provides you not only with the knowledge and understanding of how planning & scheduling should work in an industrial environment, but also how to implement it. 

Throughout the course, we help you to understand how planning & scheduling will add value to your business. And we teach you how to implement planning & scheduling using a proven framework that combines both project management and change management principles.

PS200 – Maintenance
Planning & Scheduling

The PS200 Maintenance Planning & Scheduling Course provides you with the knowledge and understanding of how planning & scheduling should work in an industrial environment and how it adds value. 

This course is the same as the PS100 course, but excludes the module on implementation and therefore does not grant access to the implementation framework, tools and templates.

PS300 – Maintenance

for Managers

The Maintenance Planning & Scheduling for Managers Course (PS300) is a condensed version of the PS100 course. 

This course consists of 16 video lessons that tackle all the key concepts around maintenance planning & scheduling that a manager needs to understand so he/she can effectively lead an implementation and/or drive continuous improvement. 

PS400 – Maintenance

for the Frontline

The Maintenance Planning & Scheduling for the Frontline Course (PS400) is a condensed version of the PS200 course. 

This course consists of 15 video lessons that tackle everything a frontline operator or maintenance technician needs to know and understand about maintenance planning & scheduling to effectively support the process and execute their role in it.

PM100: Developing & Improving Preventive Maintenance Programs

This course focusses on the principles and practices that you need to apply when developing or improving your Preventive Maintenance Program so you can achieve higher reliability and availability whilst doing less maintenance.

Experience has shown that between 40% – 60% of the PM tasks in a PM program add little value. Poor PM programs waste time and money, do not effectively address failures, and drive our organisations into a reactive, fire-fighting culture. This course will teach you how to identify those non-value-adding PMs and either improve them or eliminate them.

This course will be a condensed version of the PM100 course and is aimed at arming maintenance managers, superintendents and supervisors with everything they need to know about preventive maintenance.

This course will be a condensed version of the PM100 course aimed maintenance technicians and plant operators.

With this course under their belt your technicians and operators will massively accelerate the speed by which you can improve your PM program, because they finally understand the reliability principles that under pin a PM program and can contribute effectively.

DE100: Implementing Defect Elimination and Root Cause Analysis

Learn the powerful principles of Defect Elimination and Root Cause Analysis and how both are essential on your journey higher reliability. 

Students will be introduced to a range of Root Cause Analysis techniques from 5-Why to advanced practices like Apollo RCA. The course explains the requirements to develop and implement an effective Defect Elimination process in their organisation and how to tie the two different approaches together.

Aimed at maintenance managers with a strong technical background, The Leading Maintenance & Reliability Improvement course (LC100) teaches these leaders how to develop, sell and implement maintenance improvement programs that deliver sustainable results.

The course builds on the technical knowledge gained in the Maintenance Planning & Scheduling, Preventive Maintenance, and Defect Elimination courses offered by the Road to Reliability™ Academy or equivalent prior knowledge.

Hi, my name is Erik Hupjé, founder of R2 Reliability and I will be your course director.

For the last 20 years’ experience in asset management, and specifically maintenance & reliability. And during those years I’ve worked in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, the Philippines, the Sultanate of Oman and Australia. My passion is for continuous improvement and keeping things simple.

Through the Road to Reliability I help Maintenance & Reliability professionals around the globe – people like yourself – improve their plant’s reliability and their organisation bottom line.

I am a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Practitioner (CMRP), Certified Reliability Leader (CRL) and a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng).
